Chelsea Clinton’s Wedding Dress – Vera Wang Strapless Gown

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton is engaged to be married to her long-time boyfriend, fiance Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker. There was a lot of competition for the gown design for her wedding dress. And finally Vera Wang gown won the race for the royal wedding.

The gown was an ivory strapless made up of silk; of course Vera Wank silk was the main attraction of the evening. The custom-made dress also had a bejeweled and shimmering waistband. Wang launched her line of bridal dresses in 1990 at her flagship salon at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City. The bride, Chelsa looked more beautiful in the custom made white gown specially designed for her. The gown was a full skirted gown and the waist was silver beaded. She carried a bouquet of white flowers, and was escorted down the aisle by her father. The former president and the groom wore dark suits, while the mother of the bride wore a fuchsia dress by Oscar de la Renta. The wedding took place on a near-perfect summer day of warm temperatures, blue skies and cottony clouds. The Clinton-Mezvinsky wedding has been characterized by wedding planners and other observers as a "royal wedding for the U.S."
